Rebecca Newland Kilch, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Rebecca Newland Kilch, PhD, is a staff psychologist at Bradley Hospital, who provides clinical and consultation services, participates in research and program evaluation activities, and supervises trainees at the Bradley/Hasbro Children’s Research Center and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

Dr. Newland is a graduate of Northwestern University. She earned her doctoral degree in child clinical psychology from Arizona State University and completed her predoctoral clinical internship in child clinical/pediatric psychology at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Newland completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in early childhood mental health at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Research Interests

Dr. Newland's clinical, consultation, and scholarly interests broadly focus on promoting infant/early childhood mental health, largely in community-based settings and early childhood systems. She also has specific interests in infant/early childhood mental health consultation and reflective practice and supervision. Dr. Newland is invested in linking community-based work to high-quality program evaluation.
