Kids growing up today are impacted by their peers, their friends, and social media in ways that we never were. As a result, a staggering forty percent of children are affected by a mental health disorder at some point in their childhood.
At Bradley Hospital, our expert clinicians in children’s mental health work with kids and families every day, providing clinical care to children of all ages and their families, both virtually and in-person. And we are now sharing some of our expertise on our very own podcast hosted by Gregory Fritz, MD, and Tanuja Gandhi, MD.
Dr. Gregory K. Fritz is the co-host of the Bradley Hospital podcast Mindcast: Healthy Mind, Healthy Child, and the retired Bradley Hospital medical director and Hasbro Children's Hospital child and family psychiatry director. In addition to serving as editor of the Brown University Child and Adolescent Behavior Letter, where this article first appeared, Fritz also served as president of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Tanuja Gandhi, MD is an Adult, Child, Adolescent and Forensic Psychiatrist and she is currently a psychiatrist on the children's inpatient unit at Bradley. Tanuja also co-hosts Bradley's podcast, Mindcast, where she discusses topics about children's mental health with other Bradley clinicians.
