Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Maria Eguia-Brusco is lead psychologist of Bradley Hospital’s Children's Inpatient Program.
Before returning to Bradley Hospital as lead psychologist, Dr. Maria Eguia-Brusco spent several years in private practice, where she provided outpatient therapy, completed psychological evaluations, and worked with schools. She also worked as a consulting psychologist with the Paul Cuffee Charter School in Providence and The Learning Community Charter School in Central Falls, Rhode Island.
Dr. Eguia-Brusco has presented at conferences and collaborated on peer reviewed research published in academic journals.
She earned a master’s degree and a doctorate degree in child clinical psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Eguia-Brusco completed a pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a postdoctoral fellowship in Early Childhood at Bradley Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
She is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the Rhode Island Psychological Association, and the National Association of School Psychologists.
Dr. Eguia-Brusco is fluent in Spanish.
