“Find a Doctor” is operated by Brown University Health and includes all physicians who are on the medical staffs of Brown University Health-affiliated hospitals, without any charge to them. Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.
Judith Rae McCullough Romero, PhD

Judith McCullough Romero, PhD, is a clinical psychologist providing inpatient therapy and behavioral health consultation through the Pediatric Medical Psychiatric Program at Hasbro Children’s. She also provides some coverage for the medical and psychiatric floors in the hospital.
She has over 20 years’ experience as a pediatric psychologist working with children and adolescents of all ages and with a number of different medical and mental health conditions. Her areas of focus/specialties include integrated behavioral health, supporting management of chronic medical conditions, and child, adolescent, and young adult psychotherapy.
Prior to joining Brown University Health, Dr. McCullough provided primary behavioral healthcare in Georgia at One Medical Seniors and as a pediatric psychologist at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Center for Pain Relief (CHOA). In addition to her work at CHOA, Dr. McCullough served as a supervising psychologist at Joe DiMaggio and Holtz Children’s Hospitals in South Florida and was appointed a voluntary assistant professor in clinical pediatrics at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
She earned her doctorate in child clinical psychology from the University of Denver and completed internship and post-doctoral fellowship in clinical child and pediatric psychology at the Mailman Center for Child Development of the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida.
Dr. McCullough is proficient in Spanish.
