Giulia Righi, PhD

Lead Psychologist

Giulia Righi, PhD, is the lead psychologist for the inpatient unit at the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities and a clinical associate professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

Dr. Righi earned both her bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Brown University. She completed a research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and received clinical training at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She later returned to Brown for an APA-accredited clinical internship and fellowship with a focus on developmental disabilities.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Righi is an active researcher. Her work focuses on psychiatric comorbidities in the context of neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as the interaction between sleep and psychiatric problems. She has been at Bradley Hospital since 2014 and has worked in several intensive programs serving children with psychiatric conditions and complex developmental needs.
