Erin E. O'Connor, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Erin O’Connor, PhD, is a clinical psychologist at the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC) at Bradley Hospital and a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

She earned master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Boston University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship through the clinical psychology training program at Brown University.

Dr. O'Connor specializes in the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy in the treatment of pediatric anxiety and OCD. Her research interests include the etiology and treatment of pediatric anxiety and OC spectrum disorders, with a particular interest in increasing the effectiveness of exposure-based treatment, specifically in the context of family interventions.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
