Priya Gearin received her BS in biology from Truman State University in 2014 and her MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018. She completed her general psychiatry residency in 2021 at Harvard South Shore, where she developed an interest in outpatient psychiatry and received the Resident Professionalism Award. She also completed a one-year program at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute from 2020 to 2021 to obtain additional training in contemporary psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches in child therapy. Upon completing her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, she will be joining the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha as an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist and assistant professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
