Bradley Hospital offers numerous services to the community, including support groups for parents and siblings, professional training, and the following events:
Every year, Bradley presents Parenting Matters, a daylong conference that invites parents, teachers and child care providers to learn from top child development and behavior professionals in a casual setting. Workshops are presented by child psychologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, social workers and others who discuss the latest research in their fields and provide helpful advice to concerned parents and child care providers.
In the spring and fall, Bradley Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital present Speaking of Kids, a series of free workshops for parents, teachers and child care providers. Workshops are held at Bradley Hospital and in schools across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
Bradley Hospital's educational series in contemporary social work practice is offered as a professional development service of Bradley Hospital's department of social work.
Bradley Conference is designed to provide education for psychologists, social workers, physicians, nurses, certified counselors, speech/language and occupational therapists, teachers, milieu therapists, and other professionals. Offered through the Department of Behavioral Education, topics cover different behavioral health populations and treatment modalities and are intended to provide practical, state-of-the-art information.
